Jurassic Park 3D , 20th anniversary screening

One of my favourite films is back on the big screen , with post conversion to 3D, all I can say is

WOW !!

Jurassic Park is pretty much a perfect film. If there is anything to bellyache about, I wont even give it a second though.
Everyone ( 30 yrs and older) should know this movie. Sheer brilliant movie, brought to the screen by a  brilliant mind ( my fave Spielberg) , a pretty ok casting  ( with the exception of Goldblum , who was the most perfect Malcolm), a mind blowing technical team to bring Michael Crichton's work to life and THE man John Williams to make the music that would tie it to our hearts.

All this recent hoopla with 3D rendering, Well let me tell you, you would think that this movie was made for 3D, not post rendered. IT was spectacular. But of course, I am so in love with this film ,they could have coloured it with a purple marker and I would not have seen anything different. It was not overdone. The sounds was remastered and for IMAX cinemas that is the real reason we went to the watch it ( I saw it 3 times btw in 2 days). The first showing, from the scene when they were flying to the island, my eyes were misty..... oh that french horn.....

By the time they landed on the island, I was in full tears. Bring on my fave scene ( visiting team's first view of the brachiosaurus),  I was done, my face was leaking. Flick I am getting misty eyed just thinking about it...... I have goosebumps from the memory.

......................... oh the heart explodes at 0:34................ .................. sighss........................................

ok, back to what I was saying.... oh dear brain not working now. * Ahem*
In case you have not seen it, read it,......... wow, your life sucks if you haven't.

We have billionaire John Hammond, he funds a team that brings dinosaurs back from prehistory to the present ( the science is actually a nobel prize winning  research). Before the park can open, he must get signed off by some leading scientists ( two paleontologists and one mathematician). While on the island, a disgruntled programmer shuts down the park in order to escape with some of the samples to sell to a competitor. Well, not much imagination will tell you what happens next.

Its amazing to think that this film was made in 1992. The mixture of animatronics and cgi was the most perfect blend to bring these animals to life. Some films today dont even compare * cough King Kong dinosaurs*cough*
These is not a single thing wrong with this film ( can you tell I'm in love yet? ) . You missed it on the big screen, but watch again.

Rating : Infinity/10
